My name is Jennifer Hadfield, I am one of the academic liaisons of the University of Pittsburgh DPT class of 2021. West Chester, Pennsylvania is my hometown. I pursued an undergraduate degree in Athletic Training at the University of Delaware. Through this program I was able to become certified as an ATC. My clinical experiences coupled with my coursework have me the opportunity to build my skill set and establish myself as a clinician. I enjoy the outdoors and staying active. Most of my free time is spent hiking and exploring new areas!
Physical therapy is a career that helps people regain strength and restore function. Having the ability to positively impact people’s physical and psychosocial state is something I am passionate about. I have a strong interest in neurological physical therapy and vestibular rehabilitation, however I remain open minded. My experiences at Pittsburgh will give me ample opportunity to be exposed to a variety of patient populations as I develop further!
