My name is Robyn McGowan and I am from Hermitage, Pennsylvania. I attended the University of Pittsburgh and graduated in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science. I have always enjoyed exercise, sports, and science but never knew Physical Therapy was the profession for me until my sophomore year of college. After volunteering and working in PT clinics I realized the great impact physical therapists have on their patients and community. I chose to stay and pursue a Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Pittsburgh because of the amazing professors, researches, and clinicians I met here as an undergraduate student. I am excited to continue my education here and work to become the best clinician I can be. When I’m not studying, I enjoy running, binge watching Netflix, and exploring the city.
