Hi! My name is Kelly Ricker and I am the current Vice-President of the DPT Class 2015. Although I am originally from Chicago, I am no new face here at the University of Pittsburgh. I completed my biology degree and graduated in May 2010 from PITT. While at PITT, I was involved in the Resident Student Association’s Executive Board and was a Resident Assistant. Since my time at PITT, I have dedicated all my efforts to physical therapy. I spent my two years off volunteering and working at hospitals and nursing homes. My passion is the geriatric population. I hope one day to help others like my Grandma because she is the strongest woman I know. She taught me many things in life but the one that has stuck with me is this: “You need 3 things to succeed: a funny bone, a wish bone, and a back bone.”
