Chris Taylor
Academic Liaison
My name is Christopher Taylor and I am one of the Student Liaisons for the Pitt DPT Class of 2015. I am a University of Pittsburgh Alumni and graduated in 2012 Summa Cum Laude with a BS in Rehabilitation Science and a certificate in Pathokinesiology. I grew up in the Twin Cities of Minnesota and now reside in Pittsburgh. I love sports and music; soccer and basketball are my passions. I also play bass guitar in a local band in Pittsburgh. My involvement and love for the profession of physical therapy has been present for many years now. I have worked extensively for UPMC Centers for Rehab Services and Allegheny Chesapeake Physical Therapy. My time in the clinics has fueled my passion and showed me how important our profession is for the future of heath care. We are unique in the chances we have to build effective and extensive relationships with our clients. No matter what setting we practice in, we are becoming a first line of care in our communities. The responsibilities of physical therapists is always increasing and it is our job to meet these demands. I speak for myself and my classmates when I say we are excited and prepared to take on this challenge.
